Carr Hardware & Supply was founded in 1928 by Sam Carr. In 1962, the Raser family purchased the business. Marshall Raser and his son, Bart, (above) operate it today.
Carr's continued success springs from its staff of 100 career professionals operating 5 stores: Carr Hardware/Just Ask Rental in Pittsfield and Lee, Massachusetts; Carr Paint & (Just Ask) Rental in North Adams, Massachusetts; Carr Hardware in Great Barrington, Massachusetts; and the newest addition to the Carr Family, De Lollo’s Hardware in Watervliet, New York.
